Unique 8X8 dot matrix addressable, programmable LED module using the Maxim MAX7219 IC. Cascadable for multiple modules
NOT STAND ALONE REQUIRES CPU & PROGRAMMING
(Driver on our Website for 51mcu)
Power: 5VDC
Interface: 3 line Serial input from a microprocessor (CS/Din/Clock)
Connections: Input: 5Pin Vcc/Gnd/CS/Din/Clock) from Microprocessor or
previous module
Output: 5Pin Vcc/Gnd/CS/Dout/Clock) to next Module
The left side of the module is the input port and the right side is the output port. When using a single module, only connect the input port to the CPU.
When multiple modules are cascaded, the input of the first module is connected to the CPU, the output is connected to the input of the second module, the output of the second module is connected to the input of the third module, and so on.
Four 3mm dia mounting holes.
Includes a Right Angle and a Straight Header. Requires soldering
